The 17th Annual Nursing Alliance Leadership Academy (NALA)
 was held August 27-28, 2021

 

Target Audience

  • Newly elected & incumbent volunteer leaders
  • Emerging volunteer leaders
  • Organizational leadership teams

The target audience has a desire to enhance their knowledge of board leadership roles and responsibilities, governance, and organizational strategies for success.

NALA is a great resource for organizations for board orientation/board leadership development.

Overall Objective

The program's overall objective is to provide consistent, effective volunteer governance leadership education for individuals within nursing organizations.

Content and learning experiences will assist volunteer leaders on their journey of development and refinement of the knowledge and skills necessary to govern and lead their organizations effectively.

Opportunities to build strong networking relationships among leaders of national and international nursing organizations will also be provided.

Nursing Contact Hours

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved for 8 hours by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 

 

 


CAE Credits

As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, we will seek approval for CAE credit for the Fall Summit.

Note: This program is not endorsed, accredited, or affiliated with ASAE or the CAE Program. Applicants may use any program that meets eligibility requirements in the specific timeframe towards the exam application or renewal. There are no specific individual courses required as part of the applications – selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs.


2021 Conference Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations must be made in writing directly to the Nursing Organizations Alliance. If received by July 29, 2021, The Nursing Organizations Alliance will apply a $50 administrative fee and refund the remainder of the registration fee. After July 29, 2021, no refund will be given. Replacements are always welcome and can be arranged through NOA Headquarters.
